⁵“Master,”^(A) Simon replied, “we’ve worked hard all night long and caught nothing! But at Your word, I’ll let down the nets.”^[a]

⁵Simon answered, “Master,^(A) we’ve worked hard all night and haven’t caught anything.^(B) But because you say so, I will let down the nets.”

⁴⁹John responded,^(A) “Master, we saw someone driving out demons in Your name,^(B) and we tried to stop him because he does not follow us.”^(C)

⁴⁹“Master,”^(A) said John, “we saw someone driving out demons in your name and we tried to stop him, because he is not one of us.”
