42 [a]But woe be to you, Pharisees: for ye [b]tithe the mint and the rue, and [c]all manner herbs, and pass over [d]judgment and the love of God: these ought ye to have done, and not to have left the other undone.
43 (A)[e]Woe be to you, Pharisees: for ye love the uppermost seats in the Synagogues, and greetings in the markets.
44 [f]Woe be to you, Scribes and Pharisees hypocrites: (B)for ye are as graves which appear not, and the men that walk over them, perceive not.

43 “Woe to you Pharisees, because you love the most important seats in the synagogues and respectful greetings in the marketplaces.(D)
44 “Woe to you, because you are like unmarked graves,(E) which people walk over without knowing it.”
