¹⁴ “Bring the one who has cursed to the outside of the camp and have all who heard him lay their hands on his head; then have the whole community stone him.^{(A) 15} And tell the Israelites: If anyone curses his God, he will bear the consequences of his sin. ¹⁶ Whoever blasphemes the name of Yahweh is to be put to death;^(B) the whole community must stone him. If he blasphemes the Name, he is to be put to death, whether the foreign resident or the native.

⁹ Instead, you must kill him. Your hand is to be the first against him to put him to death, and then the hands of all the people.^(A)

¹² Therefore Jesus also suffered outside the gate,^(A) so that He might sanctify^[a] the people by His own blood.
