³⁰ Keep my requirements^(A) and do not follow any of the detestable customs that were practiced before you came and do not defile yourselves with them. I am the Lord your God.^(B)’”

⁹ “‘The priests are to perform my service^(A) in such a way that they do not become guilty^(B) and die^(C) for treating it with contempt. I am the Lord, who makes them holy.^(D)

⁷ They are to perform duties for him and for the whole community^(A) at the tent of meeting by doing the work^(B) of the tabernacle.

¹⁹ When the cloud remained over the tabernacle a long time, the Israelites obeyed the Lord’s order^(A) and did not set out.^(B)

Love and Obey the Lord

11 Love^(A) the Lord your God and keep his requirements, his decrees, his laws and his commands always.^(B)

³ and observe^(A) what the Lord your God requires: Walk in obedience to him, and keep his decrees and commands, his laws and regulations, as written in the Law of Moses. Do this so that you may prosper^(B) in all you do and wherever you go

¹¹ This will be for the consecrated priests, the Zadokites,^(A) who were faithful in serving me^(B) and did not go astray as the Levites did when the Israelites went astray.^(C)

⁷ “This is what the Lord Almighty says: ‘If you will walk in obedience to me and keep my requirements,^(A) then you will govern my house^(B) and have charge^(C) of my courts, and I will give you a place among these standing here.^(D)
