^34 (A)“Then the land shall enjoy^[a] its Sabbaths as long as it lies desolate, while you are in your enemies' land; then the land shall rest, and enjoy its Sabbaths.

⁴⁴ Yet for all that, when they are in the land of their enemies, ^(A)I will not spurn them, neither will I abhor them so as to destroy them utterly and ^(B)break my covenant with them, for I am the Lord their God.

³⁶ “The Lord will ^(A)bring you and your king whom you set over you to a nation that neither you ^(B)nor your fathers have known. And ^(C)there you shall serve other gods of wood and stone.

⁶⁴ “And the Lord ^(A)will scatter you among all peoples, from one end of the earth to the other, and ^(B)there you shall serve other gods ^(C)of wood and stone, ^(D)which neither you nor your fathers have known.
