²⁰Your strength will be spent in vain,^(A) because your soil will not yield its crops, nor will the trees of your land yield their fruit.^(B)

²⁰And your strength shall be spent in vain: for your land shall not yield her increase, neither shall the trees of the land yield their fruits.

³⁸You will sow much seed in the field but you will harvest little,^(A) because locusts^(B) will devour^(C) it.

³⁸Thou shalt carry much seed out into the field, and shalt gather but little in; for the locust shall consume it.
