‘If his offering is a burnt sacrifice of the herd, let him offer a male (A)without blemish; he shall offer it of his own free will at the door of the tabernacle of meeting before the Lord. (B)Then he shall put his hand on the head of the burnt offering, and it will be (C)accepted on his behalf (D)to make atonement for him. He shall kill the (E)bull before the Lord; (F)and the priests, Aaron’s sons, shall bring the blood (G)and sprinkle the blood all around on the altar that is by the door of the tabernacle of meeting.

You are to lay your hand on the head(F) of the burnt offering,(G) and it will be accepted(H) on your behalf to make atonement(I) for you. You are to slaughter(J) the young bull(K) before the Lord, and then Aaron’s sons(L) the priests shall bring the blood and splash it against the sides of the altar(M) at the entrance to the tent of meeting.
