⁷ And he said to the people, “Go forward. March round the city and let ^(A)the armed men pass on before the ark of the Lord.”

⁹ The armed men were walking before the priests who were blowing the trumpets, and the ^(A)rearguard was walking after the ark, while the trumpets blew continually.

²⁰ So ^(A)Moses said to them, “If you will do this, if you will take up arms to go before the Lord for the war, ²¹ and every armed man of you will pass over the Jordan before the Lord, until he has ^(B)driven out his enemies from before him

^27 (A)but your servants will pass over, every man who is ^(B)armed for war, before the Lord to battle, as my lord orders.”
