44 (A)How can you believe, who receive honor from one another, and do not seek (B)the honor that comes from the only God?
44 How can you believe since you accept glory from one another but do not seek the glory that comes from the only God[a]?(A)
18 (A)He who speaks from himself seeks his own glory; but He who (B)seeks the glory of the One who sent Him is true, and (C)no unrighteousness is in Him.
18 Whoever speaks on their own does so to gain personal glory,(A) but he who seeks the glory of the one who sent him is a man of truth; there is nothing false about him.
6 (A)Nor did we seek glory from men, either from you or from others, when (B)we might have (C)made demands (D)as apostles of Christ.
6 We were not looking for praise from people,(A) not from you or anyone else, even though as apostles(B) of Christ we could have asserted our authority.(C)
