17 What is man, that thou shouldest magnify him? and that thou shouldest set thine heart upon him?
16 how much less mortals, who are vile and corrupt,(A) who drink up evil(B) like water!(C)
16 How much more abominable and filthy is man, which drinketh iniquity like water?
14 if I say to corruption,(A) ‘You are my father,’ and to the worm,(B) ‘My mother’ or ‘My sister,’
14 I have said to corruption, Thou art my father: to the worm, Thou art my mother, and my sister.
6 how much less a mortal, who is but a maggot— a human being,(A) who is only a worm!”(B)
6 How much less man, that is a worm? and the son of man, which is a worm?
6 But I am a worm(A) and not a man, scorned by everyone,(B) despised(C) by the people.
6 But I am a worm, and no man; a reproach of men, and despised of the people.
14 Do not be afraid,(A) you worm(B) Jacob, little Israel, do not fear, for I myself will help(C) you,” declares the Lord, your Redeemer,(D) the Holy One(E) of Israel.
14 Fear not, thou worm Jacob, and ye men of Israel; I will help thee, saith the Lord, and thy redeemer, the Holy One of Israel.
