¹³keep your tongue^(A) from evil
and your lips from telling lies.^(B)

¹³Keep thy tongue from evil, and thy lips from speaking guile.

²We all stumble^(A) in many ways. Anyone who is never at fault in what they say^(B) is perfect,^(C) able to keep their whole body in check.^(D)

²For in many things we offend all. If any man offend not in word, the same is a perfect man, and able also to bridle the whole body.
