^(C)Denounce him; let’s denounce him!”

Watching for my fall, say:
“Perhaps he will be persuaded, so that we may ^(E)prevail against him
And take our revenge on him.”

⁵ Why have I seen it?
They are terrified,
They are ^(A)retreating,
And their ^(B)warriors are defeated
And have taken refuge in flight,
Without facing back.
^[a](C)Terror is on every side!”
Declares the Lord.

²⁹ They will take away their tents and their flocks;
They will carry off for themselves
Their tent ^(A)curtains, all their goods and their ^(B)camels,
And they will call out to one another, ‘^(C)Horror on every side!’
