^19 (A)Your own wickedness will correct you,
And your ^(B)apostasies will punish you;
Know therefore and see that it is evil and ^(C)bitter
For you to abandon the Lord your God,
And ^(D)the fear of Me is not in you,” declares the Lord ^[a]God of armies.

¹⁸ Your ^(A)ways and your deeds
Have ^[a]brought these things upon you.
This is your evil. How ^(B)bitter!
How it has touched your heart!”

⁹ And it will be, like people, ^(A)like priest;
So I will ^(B)punish them for their ways
And repay them for their deeds.
