2 But neither he nor his servants nor the people of the land listened to the words of the Lord which He spoke through the prophet Jeremiah.
3 Yet King Zedekiah sent Jehucal the son of Shelemiah [along] with Zephaniah the son of Maaseiah, the priest, to the prophet Jeremiah, saying, “Please pray [now] to the Lord our God for us.” 4 Now Jeremiah was coming and going among the people, for they had not [yet] put him in prison.

New International Version
2 Neither he nor his attendants nor the people of the land paid any attention(A) to the words the Lord had spoken through Jeremiah the prophet.
3 King Zedekiah, however, sent(B) Jehukal(C) son of Shelemiah with the priest Zephaniah(D) son of Maaseiah to Jeremiah the prophet with this message: “Please pray(E) to the Lord our God for us.”
4 Now Jeremiah was free to come and go among the people, for he had not yet been put in prison.(F)
