Jeremiah 33:11-13

New American Standard Bible

¹¹the voice of ^(A)joy and the voice of gladness, the voice of the groom and the voice of the bride, the voice of those who say,

“^(B)Give thanks to the Lord of armies,
For the Lord is good,
For His mercy is everlasting,”

as they bring a ^(C)thanksgiving offering into the house of the Lord. For I will restore the fortunes of the land as they were at first,’ says the Lord.

¹²“This is what the Lord of armies says: ‘There will again be in this place which is waste, ^(D)without man or animal, and in all its cities, a pasture for shepherds who rest their ^(E)flocks. ¹³In the ^(F)cities of the hill country, in the cities of the lowland, in the cities of the Negev, in the land of Benjamin, in the areas surrounding Jerusalem, and in the cities of Judah, the flocks will again ^(G)pass under the hands of the one who counts them,’ says the Lord.

¹¹the sounds of joy and gladness,^(A) the voices of bride and bridegroom, and the voices of those who bring thank offerings^(B) to the house of the Lord, saying,

“Give thanks to the Lord Almighty,
for the Lord is good;^(C)
his love endures forever.”^(D)

For I will restore the fortunes^(E) of the land as they were before,^(F)’ says the Lord.

¹²“This is what the Lord Almighty says: ‘In this place, desolate^(G) and without people or animals^(H)—in all its towns there will again be pastures for shepherds to rest their flocks.^(I) ¹³In the towns of the hill^(J) country, of the western foothills and of the Negev,^(K) in the territory of Benjamin, in the villages around Jerusalem and in the towns of Judah, flocks will again pass under the hand^(L) of the one who counts them,’ says the Lord.

¹¹The voice of joy, and the voice of gladness, the voice of the bridegroom, and the voice of the bride, the voice of them that shall say, Praise the Lord of hosts: for the Lord is good; for his mercy endureth for ever: and of them that shall bring the sacrifice of praise into the house of the Lord. For I will cause to return the captivity of the land, as at the first, saith the Lord.

¹²Thus saith the Lord of hosts; Again in this place, which is desolate without man and without beast, and in all the cities thereof, shall be an habitation of shepherds causing their flocks to lie down.

¹³In the cities of the mountains, in the cities of the vale, and in the cities of the south, and in the land of Benjamin, and in the places about Jerusalem, and in the cities of Judah, shall the flocks pass again under the hands of him that telleth them, saith the Lord.
