14 I will make you serve your enemies (A)in a land that you do not know, (B)for in my anger a fire is kindled that shall burn forever.”
15 (C)O Lord, you know;
(D)remember me and visit me,
(E)(F)and take vengeance for me on my persecutors.
In your forbearance take me not away;
(G)know that (H)for your sake I bear reproach.
16 Your words were found, (I)and I ate them,
and (J)your words became to me a joy
and the delight of my heart,
(K)for I am called by your name,
O Lord, God of hosts.

remember me and care for me.

You are long-suffering(D)—do not take me away;
think of how I suffer reproach for your sake.(E)

they were my joy and my heart’s delight,(G)
for I bear your name,(H)
Lord God Almighty.
