The dominion will be vast,
and its prosperity will never end.(A)
He will reign on the throne of David
and over his kingdom,
to establish and sustain it
with justice and righteousness from now on and forever.
The zeal of the Lord of Armies will accomplish this.(B)

God Alone Is the Savior

14 This is what the Lord says:

“The products of Egypt and the merchandise of Cush
and the Sabeans, men of stature,(A)
will come over to you(B)
and will be yours;
they will follow you,
they will come over in chains
and bow down to you.
They will confess[a] to you,
‘God is indeed with you,(C) and there is no other;
there is no other God.’”

15 Yes, you are a God who hides,(D)
God of Israel, Savior.(E)
16 All of them are put to shame, even humiliated;(F)
the makers of idols go in humiliation together.
17 Israel will be saved by the Lord
with an everlasting salvation;
you will not be put to shame or humiliated
for all eternity.(G)

18 For this is what the Lord says—
the Creator of the heavens,
the God who formed the earth and made it,
the one who established it
(he did not create it to be a wasteland,
but formed it to be inhabited)(H)
he says, “I am the Lord,
and there is no other.
19 I have not spoken in secret,(I)
somewhere in a land of darkness.
I did not say to the descendants of Jacob:
Seek me in a wasteland.(J)
I am the Lord, who speaks righteously,(K)
who declares what is right.

20 “Come, gather together,
and approach, you fugitives of the nations.
Those who carry their wooden idols
and pray to a god who cannot save(L)
have no knowledge.(M)
21 Speak up and present your case[b](N)
yes, let them consult each other.
Who predicted this long ago?
Who announced it from ancient times?
Was it not I, the Lord?
There is no other God but me,
a righteous God and Savior;(O)
there is no one except me.(P)
22 Turn to me and be saved,
all the ends of the earth.
For I am God,
and there is no other.
23 By myself I have sworn;(Q)
truth has gone from my mouth,(R)
a word that will not be revoked:
Every knee will bow(S) to me,
every tongue will swear allegiance.
24 It will be said about me, ‘Righteousness and strength
are found only in the Lord.’”
All who are enraged against him
will come to him and be put to shame.(T)
25 All the descendants of Israel
will be justified and boast in the Lord.

22 This is what the Lord God says:

Look, I will lift up my hand to the nations,
and raise my banner to the peoples.(A)
They will bring your sons in their arms,
and your daughters will be carried on their shoulders.(B)
23 Kings will be your guardians
and their queens[a] your nursing mothers.(C)
They will bow down to you
with their faces to the ground
and lick the dust at your feet.(D)
Then you will know that I am the Lord;(E)
those who put their hope in me
will not be put to shame.(F)

24 Can the prey be taken from a mighty man,
or the captives of a tyrant[b] be delivered?
25 For this is what the Lord says:
“Even the captives of a mighty man will be taken,
and the prey of a tyrant will be delivered;
I will contend with the one who contends with you,
and I will save your children.
26 I will make your oppressors eat their own flesh,(G)
and they will be drunk with their own blood
as with sweet wine.
Then all humanity will know
that I, the Lord, am your Savior,(H)
and your Redeemer,(I) the Mighty One of Jacob.”(J)

19 I will establish a sign among them, and I will send survivors from them to the nations—to Tarshish, Put,[a] Lud (who are archers), Tubal, Javan,(A) and the coasts and islands far away—who have not heard about me or seen my glory. And they will proclaim my glory among the nations.(B) 20 They will bring all your brothers from all the nations as a gift to the Lord on horses and chariots, in litters, and on mules and camels, to my holy mountain Jerusalem,”(C) says the Lord, “just as the Israelites bring an offering in a clean vessel to the house of the Lord. 21 I will also take some of them as priests and Levites,”(D) says the Lord.

22 “For just as the new heavens and the new earth,(E)
which I will make,
will remain before me”—
this is the Lord’s declaration—
“so your offspring and your name will remain.
23 All humanity will come to worship me
from one New Moon to another
and from one Sabbath to another,”
says the Lord.

24 “As they leave, they will see the dead bodies of those who have rebelled against me;(F) for their worm(G) will never die, their fire will never go out,(H) and they will be a horror to all humanity.”(I)
