³⁰ And it will ^(A)roar against it on that day like the roaring of the sea.
If one ^(B)looks across to the land, behold, there is darkness and distress;
Even the light is darkened by its clouds.

¹⁸ Woe to you who are longing for the ^(A)day of the Lord,
For what ^[a]purpose will the day of the Lord be to you?
It will be ^(B)darkness and not light;

⁹ And it will come about on that day,” declares the Lord God,
“That I will make the ^(A)sun go down at noon,
And ^(B)make the earth dark in ^[a]broad daylight.
