Jacob, whom I have chosen,^(B)
descendant of Abraham, My friend^(C)—
⁹ I brought^[a] you from the ends of the earth
and called you from its farthest corners.
I said to you: You are My servant;
I have chosen you and not rejected you.^(D)

This is My Son,^(B) the Chosen One;^[a](C)
listen to Him!^(D)

Look! I lay a stone in Zion,^(A)
a chosen and honored^[a] cornerstone,^[b](B)
and the one who believes in Him
