⁷ Therefore Moab shall ^(A)wail for Moab;
Everyone shall wail.
For the foundations ^(B)of Kir Hareseth you shall mourn;
Surely they are stricken.

¹¹ Therefore ^(A)my ^[a]heart shall resound like a harp for Moab,
And my inner being for ^[b]Kir Heres.

³¹ Therefore ^(A)I will wail for Moab,
And I will cry out for all Moab;
^[a]I will mourn for the men of Kir Heres.

³⁶ Therefore ^(A)My heart shall wail like flutes for Moab,
And like flutes My heart shall wail
For the men of Kir Heres.
Therefore ^(B)the riches they have acquired have perished.
