Judgment on Assyria

²⁴ The Lord of armies has sworn, saying, “Certainly, ^(A)just as I have intended, so it has happened, and just as I have planned, so it will stand,

¹⁷ For the Scripture says to Pharaoh, “^(A)For this very reason I raised you up, in order to demonstrate My power in you, and that My name might be proclaimed ^[a]throughout the earth.”
