¹⁹ I swear in My zeal and fiery rage:^(A) On that day there will be a great earthquake in the land of Israel. ²⁰ The fish of the sea, the birds of the sky, the animals of the field, every creature that crawls on the ground, and every human being on the face of the earth will tremble before Me. The mountains will be thrown down, the cliffs will collapse, and every wall will fall to the ground.

²⁶ His voice shook the earth at that time, but now He has promised, Yet once more I will shake not only the earth but also heaven.^{(A)[a] 27} This expression, “Yet once more,” indicates the removal of what can be shaken^(B)—that is, created things—so that what is not shaken might remain. ²⁸ Therefore, since we are receiving a kingdom that cannot be shaken, let us hold on to grace.^[b] By it, we may serve God acceptably, with reverence and awe,^(C)
