3 You shall be (A)a crown of beauty in the hand of the Lord,
and a royal diadem in the hand of your God.
4 (B)You shall no more be termed (C)Forsaken,[a]
and your land shall no more be termed Desolate,[b]
(D)but you shall be called (E)My Delight Is in Her,[c]
and your land Married;[d]
for the Lord delights in you,
and your land shall be married.
5 For as a young man marries a young woman,
so (F)shall your sons marry you,
and as the bridegroom rejoices over the bride,
so (G)shall your God rejoice over you.

But you will be called Hephzibah,[a](D)
and your land Beulah[b];
for the Lord will take delight(E) in you,
and your land will be married.(F)
5 As a young man marries a young woman,
so will your Builder marry you;
as a bridegroom(G) rejoices over his bride,
so will your God rejoice(H) over you.
