13 My own hand founded the earth,
and my right hand spread out the heavens;(A)
when I summoned them,
they stood up together.
14 All of you, assemble and listen!
Who among the idols[a] has declared these things?
The Lord loves him;[b]
he will accomplish his will against Babylon,(B)
and his arm will be against the Chaldeans.
15 I—I have spoken;
yes, I have called him;(C)
I have brought him,
and he will succeed in his mission.(D)

14 “Come together,(D) all of you, and listen:
Which of the idols has foretold(E) these things?
The Lord’s chosen ally(F)
will carry out his purpose(G) against Babylon;(H)
his arm will be against the Babylonians.[a]
15 I, even I, have spoken;
yes, I have called(I) him.
I will bring him,
and he will succeed(J) in his mission.
