²⁴ They will say of me, ‘In the Lord alone
    are deliverance^(A) and strength.^(B)’”
All who have raged against him
    will come to him and be put to shame.^(C)

¹¹ Faithfulness springs forth from the earth,
    and righteousness^(A) looks down from heaven.

² “Who has stirred^(A) up one from the east,^(B)
    calling him in righteousness^(C) to his service^[a]?^(D)
He hands nations over to him
    and subdues kings before him.
He turns them to dust^(E) with his sword,
    to windblown chaff^(F) with his bow.^(G)

¹³ I am bringing my righteousness^(A) near,
    it is not far away;
    and my salvation^(B) will not be delayed.
I will grant salvation to Zion,^(C)
    my splendor^(D) to Israel.

¹⁸ If only you had paid attention^(A) to my commands,
    your peace^(B) would have been like a river,^(C)
    your well-being^(D) like the waves of the sea.
