43 But now, this is what the Lord says, He who is your ^(A)Creator, Jacob,
And He who ^(B)formed you, Israel:
“Do not ^(C)fear, for I have ^(D)redeemed you;
I have ^(E)called you by name; you are ^(F)Mine!

^9 (A)Be cheerful, shout joyfully together,
You ^(B)ruins of Jerusalem;
For the Lord has comforted His people,
He has ^(C)redeemed Jerusalem.

⁹ In all their distress ^[a](A)He was distressed,
And the ^(B)angel of His presence saved them;
In His ^(C)love and in His mercy He ^(D)redeemed them,
And He ^(E)lifted them and carried them all the days of old.
