Isaiah 27:7-9
New American Standard Bible
7 Like the striking of Him who has struck them, has (A)He struck them?
Or like the slaughter of His slain, [a]have they been slain?
8 You contended with them [b]by banishing them, by (B)driving them away.
With His fierce wind He has expelled them on the day of the (C)east wind.
9 Therefore through this Jacob’s iniquity will be (D)forgiven;
And this will be [c]the full price of the [d](E)pardoning of his sin:
When he makes all the (F)altar stones like pulverized chalk stones;
When [e]Asherim and incense altars will not stand.
