Isaiah 27:7-9

^7 (A)Has he struck them ^(B)as he struck those who struck them?
    Or have they been slain ^(C)as their slayers were slain?
^8 (D)Measure by measure,^[a] by exile you contended with them;
    ^(E)he removed them with his fierce breath^[b] in the day of the east wind.
⁹ Therefore by this ^(F)the guilt of Jacob will be atoned for,
    and this will be the full fruit of the removal of his sin:^[c]
(G)when he makes all the stones of the altars
    like chalk-stones crushed to pieces,
    no ^(H)Asherim or incense altars will remain standing.
