(C) However, only the high priest could go into the second part of the tent, and he went in only once a year. Each time he carried blood to offer for his sins and for any sins that the people had committed without meaning to.

Above the ark were the cherubim of the Glory,(A) overshadowing the atonement cover.(B) But we cannot discuss these things in detail now.

When everything had been arranged like this, the priests entered regularly(C) into the outer room to carry on their ministry. But only the high priest entered(D) the inner room,(E) and that only once a year,(F) and never without blood,(G) which he offered for himself(H) and for the sins the people had committed in ignorance.(I)
