¹³ And behold, ^(A)the Lord stood above it^[a] and said, ^(B)“I am the Lord, the God of Abraham your father and the God of Isaac. ^(C)The land on which you lie I will give to you and to your offspring. ¹⁴ Your offspring shall be like ^(D)the dust of the earth, and you shall spread abroad to the west and to the east and to the north and to the south, and in you and ^(E)your offspring shall all the families of the earth be blessed.

¹¹ And God said to him, ^(A)“I am God Almighty:^[a] be ^(B)fruitful and multiply. ^(C)A nation and a company of nations shall come from you, and kings shall come from your own body.^{[b] 12 (D)}The land that I gave to Abraham and Isaac I will give to you, and I will give the land to your offspring after you.”
