² Then He said, “Take now ^(A)your son, your only son, whom you love, Isaac, and go to the land of ^(B)Moriah, and offer him there as a ^(C)burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I will tell you.”

²⁵ But Moses said, “You must also ^[a]let us have sacrifices and burnt offerings, so that we may ^[b]sacrifice them to the Lord our God.
