¹⁷ indeed I will greatly bless you, and I will greatly ^(A)multiply your ^[a]seed as the stars of the heavens and as ^(B)the sand, which is on the seashore; and ^(C)your ^[b]seed shall possess the gate of ^[c]their enemies.

^4 (A)I will multiply your ^[a]descendants as the stars of heaven, and will give your ^[b]descendants all these lands; and ^(B)by your ^[c]descendants all the nations of the earth ^[d]shall be blessed,

²⁴ And the Lord ^(A)appeared to him the same night and said,

¹⁴ Your ^[a]descendants will also be like ^(A)the dust of the earth, and you will ^[b]spread out ^(B)to the west and to the east, and to the north and to the south; and ^(C)in you and in your ^[c]descendants shall all the families of the earth be blessed.
