⁶ Sarah said, “God has made me laugh, and everyone who hears will laugh with me.”^{[a](A) 7} She also said, “Who would have told Abraham that Sarah would nurse children? Yet I have borne a son for him^[b] in his old age.”

¹⁹ He considered^[a] his own body to be already dead^(A) (since he was about 100 years old)^(B) and also considered the deadness of Sarah’s womb,^(C) without weakening in the faith.
