⁷ Now then, return the man’s wife, for ^(A)he is a prophet, and he will pray for you and you will live. But if you do not return her, know that you will certainly die, you and all who are yours.”

⁸ Then Pharaoh ^(A)called for Moses and Aaron and said, “^(B)Plead with the Lord ^[a]to remove the frogs from me and from my people; and ^(C)I will let the people go, so that they may sacrifice to the Lord.”

^7 (A)So the people came to Moses and said, “We have sinned, because we have spoken against the Lord and against you; ^(B)intercede with the Lord, that He will remove the serpents from us.” And Moses interceded for the people.

¹⁶ Therefore, ^(A)confess your sins to one another, and pray for one another so that you may be ^(B)healed. ^(C)A ^[a]prayer of a righteous person, when it is ^[b]brought about, can accomplish much.
