⁹ Out of the ground the Lord God caused ^(A)every tree to grow that is pleasing to the sight and good for food; ^(B)the tree of life was also in the midst of the garden, and the tree of the knowledge of good and evil.

²² Then the Lord God said, “Behold, the man has become like one of ^(A)Us, knowing good and evil; and now, he might reach out with his hand, and take fruit also from ^(B)the tree of life, and eat, and live forever”—

² in the middle of ^(A)its street. ^(B)On either side of the river was ^(C)the tree of life, bearing twelve ^[a]kinds of fruit, yielding its fruit every month; and the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations.

¹⁴ Blessed are those who ^(A)wash their robes, so that they will have the right to ^(B)the tree of life, and may ^(C)enter the city by the ^(D)gates.
