⁷ Then they came back to invade En-mishpat (that is, Kadesh^(A)), and they defeated all the territory of the Amalekites, as well as the Amorites who lived in Hazazon-tamar.^(B)

⁴⁵ Then the Amalekites and Canaanites who lived in that part of the hill country came down, attacked them, and routed them as far as Hormah.^(A)
