38 As they discussed who should be appointed for the job, Pharaoh said, “Who could do it better than Joseph? For he is a man who is obviously filled with the Spirit of God.” 39 Turning to Joseph, Pharaoh said to him, “Since God has revealed the meaning of the dreams to you, you are the wisest man in the country! 40 I am hereby appointing you to be in charge of this entire project. What you say goes, throughout all the land of Egypt. I alone will outrank you.”

New International Version
38 So Pharaoh asked them, “Can we find anyone like this man, one in whom is the spirit of God[a]?”(A)
39 Then Pharaoh said to Joseph, “Since God has made all this known to you,(B) there is no one so discerning and wise as you.(C) 40 You shall be in charge of my palace,(D) and all my people are to submit to your orders.(E) Only with respect to the throne will I be greater than you.(F)”
