Ishmael’s Family Records
12 These are the family records(A) of Abraham’s son Ishmael,(B) whom Hagar the Egyptian, Sarah’s slave, bore to Abraham. 13 These are the names of Ishmael’s sons; their names according to the family records are: Nebaioth, Ishmael’s firstborn, then Kedar, Adbeel, Mibsam, 14 Mishma, Dumah, Massa, 15 Hadad, Tema, Jetur, Naphish, and Kedemah. 16 These are Ishmael’s sons, and these are their names by their villages and encampments: 12 leaders[a](C) of their clans.[b]

13 These are the names of the sons of Ishmael, listed in the order of their birth: Nebaioth(E) the firstborn of Ishmael, Kedar,(F) Adbeel, Mibsam, 14 Mishma, Dumah,(G) Massa, 15 Hadad, Tema,(H) Jetur,(I) Naphish and Kedemah. 16 These were the sons of Ishmael, and these are the names of the twelve tribal rulers(J) according to their settlements and camps.(K)
