Genesis 24:8

New International Version

⁸If the woman is unwilling to come back with you, then you will be released from this oath^(A) of mine. Only do not take my son back there.”^(B)

⁸And if the woman will not be willing to follow thee, then thou shalt be clear from this my oath: only bring not my son thither again.

³¹“Swear to me,”^(A) he said. Then Joseph swore to him,^(B) and Israel^(C) worshiped as he leaned on the top of his staff.^[a]^(D)
