⁵ Then he said to me, ^(A)“Son of man, lift up your eyes now towards the north.” So I lifted up my eyes towards the north, and behold, north of ^(B)the altar gate, in the entrance, was this ^(C)image of jealousy.

⁴⁷ And he measured the court, ^(A)a hundred cubits long and ^(B)a hundred cubits broad, a square. And ^(C)the altar was in front of the temple.

^6 (A)You shall set the altar of burnt offering before the door of the tabernacle of the tent of meeting,

^29 (A)And he set the altar of burnt offering at the entrance of the tabernacle of the tent of meeting, and offered on it the burnt offering and the ^(B)grain offering, as the Lord had commanded Moses.

² And behold, six men came from the direction of ^(A)the upper gate, which faces north, each with his weapon for slaughter in his hand, and with them was ^(B)a man clothed in linen, with a writing case at his waist. And they went in and stood beside ^(C)the bronze altar.
