Mission to Rebellious Israel

2 He said to me, “Son of man, stand up on your feet^(A) and I will speak with you.”

¹¹ He said to me, “Daniel, you are a man treasured by God.^(A) Understand the words that I’m saying to you. Stand on your feet,^(B) for I have now been sent to you.”^(C) After he said this to me, I stood trembling.

¹⁴ Then he said, ‘The God of our fathers has appointed^(A) you to know His will, to see^(B) the Righteous One,^(C) and to hear the sound of His voice.^{[a] 15} For you will be a witness for Him to all people of what you have seen and heard.^(D)
