²¹ This is the inventory for the tabernacle, the tabernacle of the testimony,^(A) that was recorded at Moses’ command. It was the work of the Levites under the direction of^[a] Ithamar son of Aaron the priest.^(B)

⁷ Moses placed the staffs before the Lord in the tent of the testimony.

² But also bring your relatives with you from the tribe of Levi, your ancestral tribe, so they may join you and assist you and your sons in front of the tent of the testimony.^(A)
