²⁰ when they enter the tent of meeting, they shall wash with water, so that they do not die; or when they approach the altar to minister, by offering up in smoke a fire sacrifice to the Lord.

²⁴ And ^(A)he shall bathe his ^[a]body with water in a holy place and put on ^(B)his clothes, and come out and offer his burnt offering and the burnt offering of the people, and make atonement for himself and for the people.

²² let’s ^(A)approach God with a ^[a]sincere heart in ^(B)full assurance of faith, having our hearts ^(C)sprinkled clean from an evil conscience and our bodies ^(D)washed with pure water.
