³⁴ Has any god ever tried to take for himself one nation out of another nation,^(A) by testings,^(B) by signs^(C) and wonders,^(D) by war, by a mighty hand and an outstretched arm,^(E) or by great and awesome deeds,^(F) like all the things the Lord your God did for you in Egypt before your very eyes?

²⁶ I prayed to the Lord and said, “Sovereign Lord, do not destroy your people,^(A) your own inheritance^(B) that you redeemed^(C) by your great power and brought out of Egypt with a mighty hand.^(D)

¹² Remember that you were slaves in Egypt,^(A) and follow carefully these decrees.

¹⁸ Remember that you were slaves in Egypt^(A) and the Lord your God redeemed you from there. That is why I command you to do this.

¹⁴ “However, the days are coming,”^(A) declares the Lord, “when it will no longer be said, ‘As surely as the Lord lives, who brought the Israelites up out of Egypt,’^(B)
