33 Then the Lord said to Moses, Whosoever hath sinned against me, I will put him out of my [a]book.
34 Go now therefore, bring the people unto the place which I commanded thee: behold, mine Angel shall go before thee, but yet in the day of my visitation I will visit their sin upon them.
35 [b]So the Lord plagued the people, because they caused Aaron to make the calf which he made.

New International Version
33 The Lord replied to Moses, “Whoever has sinned against me I will blot out(A) of my book. 34 Now go, lead(B) the people to the place(C) I spoke of, and my angel(D) will go before you. However, when the time comes for me to punish,(E) I will punish them for their sin.”
35 And the Lord struck the people with a plague because of what they did with the calf(F) Aaron had made.
