²¹ “^(A)You shall not oppress a stranger nor torment him, for you were strangers in the land of Egypt.

³³ ‘^(A)When a stranger resides with you in your land, you shall not ^[a]do him wrong. ³⁴ The stranger who resides with you shall be to you as the native among you, and ^(B)you shall love him as yourself, for you were strangers in the land of Egypt; I am the Lord your God.

³⁵ ‘^(C)You shall do no wrong in judgment, in measurement of weight, or volume. ³⁶ You shall have ^(D)accurate balances, accurate weights, an accurate ^[b]ephah, and an accurate ^[c]hin; I am the Lord your God, who brought you out from the land of Egypt. ³⁷ So you shall keep all My statutes and all My ordinances, and do them; I am the Lord.’”

¹⁷ “^(A)You shall not pervert the justice ^[a]due a stranger or ^[b]an orphan, nor ^(B)seize a widow’s garment as a ^[c]pledge. ¹⁸ But you are to remember that you were a slave in Egypt, and that the Lord your God redeemed you from there; therefore I am commanding you to do this thing.

¹⁹ “^(C)When you reap your harvest in your field and forget a sheaf in the field, you are not to go back to get it; it shall belong ^(D)to the stranger, the ^[d]orphan, and to the widow, in order that the Lord your God ^(E)may bless you in all the work of your hands. ^20 (F)When you beat the olives off your olive tree, you are not to search through the branches ^[e]again; that shall be left ^(G)for the stranger, the ^[f]orphan, and for the widow.

²¹ “When you gather the grapes of your vineyard, you are not to ^[g]go over it again; that shall be left for the stranger, the ^[h]orphan, and the widow. ²² And you shall remember that you were a slave in the land of Egypt; therefore I am commanding you to do this thing.

¹⁹ ‘^(A)Cursed is one who distorts the justice due a stranger, an ^[a]orphan, or a widow.’ And all the people shall say, ‘Amen.’
