⁶ Don’t work only while being watched, in order to please men, but as slaves of Christ, do God’s will^(A) from your heart.^[a]

³ For this is God’s will,^(A) your sanctification:^(B) that you abstain^(C) from sexual immorality,

¹⁵ For it is God’s will^(A) that you silence the ignorance^(B) of foolish people by doing good.

² in order to live the remaining time in the flesh, no longer for human desires,^[a] but for God’s will.^(A)

¹⁷ And the world with its lust is passing away,^(A) but the one who does God’s will^(B) remains forever.^(C)
