⁹ He ^[a](A)made known to us the mystery of His will, ^(B)according to His good pleasure which He ^(C)set forth in Him, ¹⁰ regarding His plan of ^(D)the fullness of the times, ^(E)to bring all things together in Christ, things ^[b]in the heavens and things on the earth. ^11 [c]In Him we also ^(F)have obtained an inheritance, having been ^(G)predestined ^(H)according to the purpose of Him who works all things ^(I)in accordance with the plan of His will, ¹² to the end that ^[d]we who were the first to hope in the ^[e]Christ would be ^(J)to the praise of His glory. ¹³ In ^[f]Him, ^[g]you also, after listening to ^(K)the message of truth, the gospel of your salvation—having also ^[h]believed, you were ^(L)sealed in ^[i]Him with ^(M)the Holy Spirit of the promise, ¹⁴ who is a ^(N)first installment of ^(O)our inheritance, in regard to the ^(P)redemption of ^(Q)God’s own possession, ^(R)to the praise of His glory.

¹⁵ For this reason I too, ^(S)having heard of the faith in the Lord Jesus which exists among you and ^[j]your love for ^(T)all the ^[k]saints, ^16 (U)do not cease giving thanks for you, ^(V)while making mention of you in my prayers; ¹⁷ that the ^(W)God of our Lord Jesus Christ, ^(X)the Father of glory, may give you a spirit of ^(Y)wisdom and of ^(Z)revelation in the ^[l]knowledge of Him. ¹⁸ I pray that ^(AA)the eyes of your heart ^[m]may be enlightened, so that you will know what is the ^(AB)hope of His ^(AC)calling, what are ^(AD)the riches of the glory of ^(AE)His inheritance in ^(AF)the ^[n]saints, ¹⁹ and what is the ^[o]boundless greatness of His power toward us who believe. ^(AG)These are in accordance with the working of the ^(AH)strength of His might ²⁰ which He brought about in Christ, when He ^(AI)raised Him from the dead and ^(AJ)seated Him at His right hand in ^(AK)the heavenly places, ²¹ far above ^(AL)all rule and authority and power and dominion, and every ^(AM)name that is named, not only in ^(AN)this age but also in the one to come. ²² And He ^(AO)put all things in subjection under His feet, and made Him ^(AP)head over all things to the church, ²³ which is His ^(AQ)body, the ^(AR)fullness of Him who ^(AS)fills ^(AT)all in all.

²² But ^(A)I urge you, ^(B)brothers and sisters, ^[a]listen patiently to ^[b]this ^(C)word of exhortation, for ^(D)I have written to you briefly.

¹² Through ^(A)Silvanus, our faithful brother ^[a](for so I regard him), ^(B)I have written to you briefly, ^[b]exhorting and testifying that this is ^(C)the true grace of God. ^(D)Stand firm in it!
