⁶² Whereas ^(A)you were as numerous ^(B)as the stars of heaven, you shall be left few in number, because you did not obey the voice of the Lord your God.

²³ You multiplied their children ^(A)as the stars of heaven, and you brought them into the land that you had told their fathers to enter and possess.

⁵ And he brought him outside and said, “Look towards heaven, and ^(A)number the stars, if you are able to number them.” Then he said to him, ^(B)“So shall your offspring be.”
