^19 (A)You shall not pervert justice. ^(B)You shall not show partiality, ^(C)and you shall not accept a bribe, for a bribe blinds the eyes of the wise and subverts the cause of the righteous.

^7 (A)Keep far from a false charge, and ^(B)do not kill the innocent and righteous, for ^(C)I will not acquit the wicked. ^8 (D)And you shall take no bribe, for a bribe blinds the clear-sighted and subverts the cause of those who are in the right.

¹² In you ^(A)they take bribes to shed blood; ^(B)you take interest and profit^[a] and make gain of your neighbours by extortion; but ^(C)me you have forgotten, declares the Lord God.
